Lymphatic Massage Workshop

This workshop will enhance practitioners understanding of the changes and why it is important to view the lymphatic system differently to a toxic waste disposal. Other areas addressed in the workshop will be hand pressure, techniques and the directional lymphatic pathway that leads to better patient outcome.

The Oedema Institute is hosting the Lymphoedema Accreditation qualification course, recognised by the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA) and designed for a range of health professionals

Compression Garments and Wraps - troubleshooting workshop

This workshop is designed to increase knowledge and skills around garments, trouble shoot the difficult patient, and shed light on the extensive range of garment options available and how best to utilise them for improved patient outcomes.

We also host regular networking and information events for medical and healthcare professionals, students and patients, with leaders in their respective fields presenting the latest findings and opinions on a broad range of topics.

The education centre is also used by other entities for their own use, independent of Oedema Institute. It is fully equipped for clients to hire for conferences, presentations, workshops, study groups and more.

Our Education Centre...

...can seat up to 24 theatre style or 24 conference style (with tables) or 34 maximum (standing). Includes projector, screen, wi-fi, integrated sound system with mic and lectern. Some catering can be arranged or enjoy the ample food and coffee options in the M-City Shopping Centre. Cinemas, restaurants and the Park Royal hotel are part of the same complex.
